Yet another use for the tractor...

Sometimes folks ask me, "What do you use that thing for?" My answer, invariably, is "Everything". And I do use it for everything. I even used it once to help get a load of groceries and home goods from the truck to the door.

Everything.

So when I had 30 folks over for my daughter's 3rd birthday and my wife had bought a Piñata, I needed to hang it on something...something the right height, yet clear underneath so the kids could swing without whacking something...hmmm...

No problem for a BX and a C-clamp! I actually had a martini sitting inside the bucket at the time and it never spilled a drop.

In the far background is the 3+ cubic yards of clay I pulled from my wife's new garden area. Under the tarp is the 10 yards of engineered fill I'm using to create the garden and begin amending the clay yard to get some better grass.

You think? Really? Not that I let my children run around or under my tractor, but I didn't give it much of a thought. Actually, my wife won't even allow me to operate the thing while the children are even outside...not a bad rule in my estimation. Obviously, I kept a very close eye on the locked controls to make sure nobody messed with them. And the children were never 'under' the bucket. And they weren't blindfolded, if you notice.

We actually had a pediatrician on-site (with her triplets) and she thought it was cool as all get-out. Does that mean this application is pediatrician endorsed?

Seriously, your observation is noted, but my wife demands the highest level of safety around this piece of equipment.

Love the creativity!!!! And I thought I was doing well when I clamped my mower blades to the bucket to sharpen them (garage workbench is a mess).

Just a thought as far as party equipment. Fill bucket with assorted cold carbonated beverages and ice and you have a four wheel drive cooler!!! Gives a new definition of beer cart.
