Need an instant portable table to use for raw osyter bar to kick-off the Thanksgiving feast?...See the attachment. My family loves to start off with oysters, beer, and and a few rounds of horseshoes.

I never run out of uses for my pallet forks on my Tach-All quick attach system.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Just when I thought that I had seen it all. That is really a great idea Steve. If you already have the pallet forks then why not take full advantage and use them.

I would be strapping mine on for our next event but we normally have a lot of curious children come by to fish with their parents and I am quite sure the table in my case might get someone hurt.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours also! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I like the blue tablecloth; it's the right color! It looks elegant. I picture setting it all up in the garage or barn, then rolling up to your guests with it completely laid out...all you needed were butler's clothes (say, black tie and tails) when driving the tractor!

I love the smell of diesel in the hors d'oeuvres.

Now I will point out that I have an even weirder use for my pallet forks (also on a quick-attach loader). I _got_ those forks because I have an 800 pound cube of barium for musical purposes. Yeah, you heard right. An 800 pound cube of barium for musical purposes.

It's a long story but the short version is the engineer that built it told me it would weight 250 pounds in two relatively manageable 125 pound pieces. The barium is in the form of barium loaded vinyl for soundproofing. So when he built the soundproof box (to put guitar amplifiers in) he miscalculated the needed weight and so it came out "a little heavy". I found out about this when it was unloaded from the truck. So I'm the first one on my block to have an 800 pound cube of barium. As soon as I figure out something that can manhandle the cube _and_ fit in the studio (no, not even with the ROPS folded down the TC35D doesn't work in the studio) I'll be able to use it.

At the moment I'm thinking of getting 3pt hitch forks and then I can use the barium cube as rear ballast too. Bet I'd be the first one on my block to do that, too.

And after seeing your picture here, maybe I'll serve Christmas dinner off that barium cube. I doubt even Martha Stewart could top that.

Thats neat!

just wondering, did you brace it at all? I would have expected the loader to drop without any hydraulic pressure from the pump..

I didn't brace it at all. The 'table' did drop a few inches during the three hours it sat there, but not enough to matter.

Cool!

My loader settles noticeably when the engine is off, but I suspect it's a lot heavier than the forks/picnic :-D

I don't know what noticably is but if you can see it settling and it settles all the way to the ground, you have something wrong. The loader may settle all the way down over night (from half way up), but you should not be able to see it. You may have a cylinder leaking internally, control valve spool not returning to neutral, or an internal leak in the control valve.

I agree, overnight it might drop a bit but it should not hit the floor. If it does I suspect a problem.
