An electronic bug killer works great.

They try to sting it to death, but guess what.

They all die as crispy critters.

J.J., Next time, maybe I can borrow your bug zapper. BTW, does it come with about 1/4 mile of extension cord? :D

A small generator would work.

A small generator would work.
You do realize that they would be attracted to the noise, vibration, and heat of the engine?

If you run over a nest with a dozer, like I did, you have to leave the equipment or they will continue to sting you.
I've even known of people that had to bail off the equipment and leave it until it ran out of fuel.

I got rid of a nest by parking the riding mower over the hole for a bit while I was mowing the grass.

I prefer the quick, night time assault with a quart of gasoline. Guaranteed kill without firing it. Nesting in side of the house, sounds like the vacuum hose is the way to go.
