year of my 2 snapper rear engine riders?? comet and series 4?

I own 2 snappers rear engine mowers I have ask many people I have give them model and serial # which are 265xs comet model serial # 742195 the other newer model 26064 serial # 33009291 I was told that one was a 93 but I bought it used used and I mean used in 88 I am thinking it is a 83 the other a 74 they went my series X XS series 1 2 3 4 mine the newest I believe is a series 4. Appreciate any help in this matter newer member but love Snappers!!!
