How do you check engine oil if there is not a dipstick?

Have you tried unscrewing the refill plug? I am thinking the dipstick [such as it is] is attached to that.

Yes I have and it only has the screw cap. Thanks.Any suggestions?

How did this get resolved? Was the dipstick simply hard to find, or was there really no dispstick?

It was REALLY hard to find. It was like camouflaged.
