Can anyone give me the tightening sequence and torque settings for head bolts on this model of yanmar its the 3 cylinder diesel thanks /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Start in the center work outward in a clockwise direction. For specs, post this at the Yanmar site.

I'd suggest you strart at the center, then work a criss-cross pattern...that is, torque one bolt near the center, then torque the bolt across the head. Work out from the center in both directions. I hope I made that clear enough.

This pulls the head down evenly.

Also, suggest you do a progressive torque. That means the first torque should be ~ 30%-40% of the finish torque value, the 60%-70%, then the final torque
