YANMAR YM2200 fan belt.

I am trying to replace my fan belt.

The Yanmar part number seems to be 12451-42290, but I don't have the specifications.
I wonder what would be an equivalent belt in a more available brand.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Else I will take the belt off and carry it to local shops.

I found it at Hoye tractor, just as I previously found other parts I needed.

If you want to know the size use a piece of rope mark it
measure it and then measure the belt you should have a
good idea of the size needed

I got the replacement belt.
When I was installing it, I realized why the belt frayed; the tensioning bar was loose, having lost the bolt that attaches it to the block. The threaded hole in the block appears intact, so I suspect the bolt came loose and fell out. I am trying to purchase a replacement bolt, but I cannot tell the size and whether it is metric or not. My Japanese parts manual does not show a number for this bolt. Does anyone have an idea?

It is wider than the bolt that attaches the other end of the "tensioning-bar" to alternator, but I cannot tell its size.

I figured out the bolt ! It is a M8 1.25 65mm long metric bolt with about 2cm of the tip having thread, the rest smooth.

So it's an M8 shoulder bolt. nice.

What type of belt did you get? Was it a kevlar type. V-Belt Supply has them in kevlar. It will outlast the machine.
