I have the same tractor. It holds 2.4 quarts. How are the hydraulics & hydraulic filters? The YM165 has a thermosiphon cooling system instead of a water pump. It needs a specific type of antifreeze mix. Use standard old style ethylene glycol 50% with 50% water. If drained completely, it holds 3.3 quarts of coolant.
If your is 4wd (YM165D) there will also be oil in the front axle.
I see you are a new member. Welcome and be sure to look around at the various brand forums. There is a very active vintage Yanmar group.

T5 semi synthetic rotella is about $16 a gallon. Thats what i woud put in it.
Your yanmar looks like a sweet old girl. I was keeping an eye out for a small 4x4 tractor like that a while back
Thanks...I just bought it..its in great shape, original owner...saw it for sale on the side of the road in Northern Michigan....428 hours...not all beat up. I paid 2K which I thought was a great price considering the low hours and condition...
