Yanmar SC 2400

I have a Yanmar SC 2400 and the RPM portion of the tachometer quite working. Any suggestions as to how to fix this, all other functions on the gauge cluster work fine (hour, lights, etc....)

Is it rin by a cable?

I believe that is the same cable and earlier this year I took it apart and everything looked good. If that cable runs the hour meter and rpm portion why would the hour portion still be working correctly the RPM needle does not move?

I believe the hour meter is run off 12 volts.

So are you thinking I simply need to put a new cable in and the RMP Tachometer will possibly start working again? Sorry for all the questions.

Maybe the cable is broke or one end stripped.
