Yanmar RSB1501 Tiller

Hi Guys.

I am trying to get information on the Yanmar RSB1501 Tiller that I have.

1. what market was this sold to. ?

2. What Yanmar Tractor was it intended to be used with.

I managed to get replacement tines from HOYE but that is about all I managed to find.

There appears to be an electrical module with a single cable with 4 pins going into the module but nothing coming out of it.

I contacted Yanmar EU and they are as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Any information or help greatfully received.

I would agree. Tractor Ernie would know much more. He has a F235 with the UFO control panel. Somehow that panel and the tillers operator together with some electrical smarts. I'm only learning about all this as the Japanese manuals for the UFO and with member TractorGuy providing a way to translate those pages.

Are you using it with the Ferguson FE35 ??? The module talks with the Yanmar UFO control system on the Yanmar F & FX Series machines that I'm aware of.

@bmaverick Yes I am using it with the FE35 so not using the electronic gizmo. I got local engineering company to make up new adjustment rods for the discharge flap.

As these tillers are hard to find info and images on, would it be possible to snap a few pixs and attach them here please. I'm trying to collect some info on these machines, however the way Yanmar lists them, it's always with a tractor and not as a separate item until the later 1990s.

That was a very quick turn around.

Indeed it has that very short PTO shaft. Does that fit your machine or does it need to be longer?

hi

I have not tried it with the FE35 yet
The previous owner used it on a kubota (not sure of the model).
I can take photos of any area you may ne interested in.
