Yanmar RS1200 Rotovator

I've purchased a n RS1200 rotovator and plan to attach it to a MF35 Deluxe. I would like any preliminary fabrication info involving the 3pt PTO connection and really need a service and owners manual. Any format would be fine. PDF seems to be universal....please!!

First, need to know if it's a 2-pt or 3-pt tiller, they were made in both styles. There's a thread about these:

On the next page of this Yanmar forum there's a pdf of the parts manual in a tiller thread but haven't seen an owners/operators manual. But you might try a search in this forum and in the attachments forum. Most operating/ maintenance questions have been answered in one thread or another for this tiller.

It is a 3pt setup and I'm trying to prepare it for adapting to a 1961 MF35 Deluxe, I really appreciate any and all suggestions

There are several threads here covering this. I contributed to one of them. Search on 'rs1400' or 'yanmar tiller'.

But basically just put it on and see how it fits.

You might need a 'PTO extender' (or add a slip clutch to make the tractor's pto longer), since I expect the MF arms are longer than Yanmar's, or even an expensive custom pto shaft if the yanmar shaft is way too short.

Also Yanmar used a special upper link to make them lift without hitting the tires. On your larger tractor you probably don't need that, but it's described in one of my posts if you do. I think I used the word 'bridge' so combine that with tiller, in a search.
