Just wanted to pass along a Yanmar rebuilding facility I happened onto when searching for a tractor.

There a Mahindra dealer in north AL (256-751-3555) that also imports Yanmar tractors from Asia and than does a complete rebuild and remarkets them as reconditioned. From what I saw the repair / recondition process is top notch and would rival any aircraft repair line.

Anyway, there was a butt load of yanmar's in all and sizes and stages of disassembly. Not sure if they sell parts but doesn't hurt to ask if you need a hard to find part.

Sounds like you discovered the Mother Lode where a lot of the parts for Yanmars come from, as well as the largest legitimate importer.

Here's their website
www.fredricksequipment.com

and their Yanmar parts catalog.

I think Tom Fredricks IS the founder/originator of UTDA.

I purchased my tractor directly from Tom. They are top notch folkes. I heard they were going to start selling the Mahindra tractors. I hope they also keep the yanmar tractors

I live less than ten miles from Fredrick's. I ended up buying one from an individual, but they were very helpful when I stopped by to ask a few questions. I still may buy a reconditioned tiller from them.
