The only site I can find (thru a Google search) for a Yanmar Owners Group, directs me to the message board at Hoye Tractor.

Quite odd. Yes, I only find the same link, or the link to register on Yanmar, but nothing behind it: Index

Strange. They need to work on their network and dealer integration. A weakness on the brand, that's for certain.

I agree; it's really strange and has been this way for decades. This thread is now a year old, and it isn't the first one on the subject either. Yanmar even answered this thread last year - once and then never followed up.

They have a surprisingly dedicated following - almost a cult-like following in fact - and that's in spite of not making the slightest effort to encourage their owners. I guess it all makes sense to Yanmar somehow, but it sure doesn't make much sense to me.

And that's for the 'new' Yanmars. The classic Yanmar tractors from when they visited earth last time are complete orphans. The other Yanmar group on here, sharing mutual assistance for the classics, is nearly the only user group active anywhere (in English) for the 30+ year old ones. Good thing the tractors are near indestructible!

^^^^Amen all my good info on the classic yanmars i get here or from Jeff at Tractor-plus use to restore the old classic yanmars and i can' forget hoye so i feel well loved and supported thanks everyone.

Does any one know how to obtain a YOG ID number. My son said he received a Yanmar welcome letter and Yanmar lapel pin when he bought his Yanmar. I never received anything like that when I bought my YT347. Has any one else receive a YOG ID?

Just got my owners group package yesterday. Looked like the envelope was run over by a truck and the hat pin was lost through a tear in the envelope.
