Yanmar LX4100 ignition/starting issues

I have a Yanmar LX4100 tractor that is about 10 years old with 700’ish hours. Lately when I turn the key to start it sometimes it starts ‘normally’ and sometime it’ll begin to start but then quit. Sometimes there’s nothing when I turn the key. I replaced the battery and had the starter tested, all good. I cleaned the surface of the starter where it faces up with the engine block when I re-installed it. I was told that it needs to be clean for a good ground. I hate to take it to the dealer for troubleshooting by some meatball at $200/hour.
Anybody else have any issues like these?

Have you checked the injection pump solenoid? Checked ignition switch for proper contact? What year is this tractor? Is the engine tier 4 or pre-tier 4?

Checking the ignition system was my next step. That’s what it acts like - like it’s not making good contact every time you turn the key. I’ll have to check the year. It’s about 10 years old.
