Car Doc; Was the 3T84T used in the 1050 John deere??

Not sure on that my block says its 3t84t on a plate but the head however it's casting number is 3t90t same as the 1050 so dont know what the actual differences are?

unclear on the concerns about the 336 block (or the related JD 95-1050 models for that matter)seems there are many out there working just fine with lots of hours on them....just confused on the reluctance posted recently....

It shows 3T84A-N engine in both.

Possibly "Naturally" aspirated.

mine did the same thing with less than 300hrs on it. Looked like the rod bolt failed.

If you replace the bolts you will need to have the big end rechecked for round. I have never once seen a rod that didn't need re-sized after replacing bolts and I have built engines my entire career. fyi

Well thats good practice. I didn't know that so thought I was giving helpful advice.
