Yanmar FX255 and FX285D Owners?

What do you think of these? In looking at some stock pics on EFC's website, these look like BadA$$ units to me. I want something to pull 5' implements and turn on a dime, 4wd required. I like that there somewhat modern and have powershift (I've heard good things about powershift).

I'm sure EFC can answer any questions you have about the tractors, their capabilities, etc. If they won't do the jobs you want them to do I'm sure he will reccommend tractors that will. Those are good sized tractors though and he's a quality dealer.

I just bought an f255 yesterday, What a great machine 16" front tires & a quick turn lever, what more do you need? With the u.f.o on the rear for angles, that machine will do anything you ask it to do.Buck at EFC. will treat you right, specially after the sale.Ernie

From what I have read, I don't think Buck will sell a tractor long distance.

I was smoking over an F255 last February. I loved it. While I was making up my mind, someone else bought it.

You're right, Dick, Buck won't sell outside his service area.

Got a change to see Ernie's F255 and what a nice machine. He said he hadn't done anything under the hood but looked showroom fresh.

The quick turn feature he mentioned is used in association with the 4wd and disengages the rear wheels so only front wheel drive. He says operated this way the tractor turns on a dime.

Now if I could only find a way to swap him the Fx24 for the F255 I'd be a happy guy. I could be interest in swapping him for one of his personal F235's if he just has to keep the F255

I have one a fx255 and I love it. Have owned it for about 5 years. I bought it to keep a dirt road in shape. Some people thought it was too small for what I wanted to do, but it has worked out fine. I need to get a loader for it.
