I don't know if I'd call this a permanent fix but it seems to be working. I had a leak at the usual point (here):

I pulled the knuckle (4 bolts) and other than being heavy (probably 50 lbs) and hard to line up while holding the weight, it's a very easy piece to remove and replace. The lip seal that goes between the two halves was where it was leaking. I put an o-ring (dash size 142 --- which is 60mm ID, 2.6mm width) around the metal sleeve that the lip seal's groove rides on then put the lip seal back on that and put it back together. No more leaks. I guess it just needed a little more squish. We'll see if it holds up long term.

UPDATE: Fixed for a day of hard use. Was nice while it worked... lol.

I have replaced seals in mine twice. It now has STP in the front instead of gear oil
