Thanks again guys, Yoshi (yes I named it) is all cleaned up & ready to get dirty again (hopefully will remain trouble free for years to come). I will be using it to mow 3-4 acres & blading gravel & snow on our 400' driveway, should be a pretty easy life.

I have a 72" Value Leader finish mower & 30" King Kutter dirt scoop ordered (on sale at Murdoch's for $248) & will report back on how they perform. Someday I might put a loader on it, but the dirt scoop will have to suffice for now $$$!

I took some pictures & a video for your viewing pleasure!

That's a nice one too! I would love to have that loader!!! Good looking tractor. How big is your box blade, and how does it do with it?

Sweet machine man. Not sure how much and for why you use your PTO but maybe get an overrun clutch for it. Almost got dead myself not having one. Otherwise, thats a damned pretty machine. Lift works faster than mine.

he likely has an internal over run clutch. His is a US made machine

Yep there's already an overrun clutch inside the PTO on this, and I think all, US-version Yanmars.

That thing is gorgeous!

Thank You! From what I understand, it is internal on this one, will find out soon when my finish mower gets here. Grew up mowing with 8 & 9n's I remember the pain of getting pushed into/over & through things LOL!

Without extra weight on the front you are probably ok, but looks like your front wheels are turned around. I may be all wet, maybe the turf tire rims just make it look that way. Sure not advised with a loader.

Actually thats a 5ft box blade and while its useable, it's a load on it. I also have an 8N and this is its replacement so if possible I have the implements set up for both. I also have a 5ft bush hog but since I live in the desert I don't have heavy or wet grass, usually just patchy weeds, so it does great for that and it doesn't run hot like my gas 8N. Some times when I mow it may be well be over 100 in the shade so the cooler running the better. I have yet to see my Yanmar get an oil temp over 185 and the head usually is around 145-155 even under a heavy load. California, on here, is the expert on 240D's and has been a big help. Mostly just stupid questions since these things are built like bricks so I also haven't added much. I am adding, and recommend, a ROPS if you have any hills at all. They are more tippy than an 8N and I put an inclinometer on it just to keep an eye on how close I am. I get scared early though, so Ive never been close! Have fun with it, its a beast!
