my rear 8.3/22 tire is old and has cracks in side wall. new tires cost so much. i was thinking of mending/patching/booting the sidewall and repair the tube. the tube in there now is newer not the case with the tire. should i or could i change the tire to tubless? what is the best? i get flats often. i need a quick cheap fix. and later i need a good price for a new set. any help please. this is a Yanmar 4X4. i am in 92308 Apple Valley, CA.:newhere:

I have had good luck repairing sidewalls with radial tire patches from the farm supply store. Never had a problem doing this and using tubes. Prep inside of sidewall w/ a wire wheel or brush and clean with contact cleaner or similar product then apply glue and patch.
