Yamaha 400 Kodiak

Came across a nice used Yamaha atv. Anyone have any experience with this brand ? It won't get used alot, just running into the woods. Can't justify a new one at the current prices but this one is pretty reasonable.

I have a 1994 kodiak , bought new , it only has a couple hundred hrs on it , but it has done a lot of work on the farm , no issues at all on mine , just a few batteries

I also had a '94 model Kodiak. Was a great machine for 10 years until my barn caught fire and burnt up the wheeler with it. Only thing I had to do to it was one new battery and tires.

Must of been a close ground fire. For the wheelers I seen burnt up in a shed down the road, looked horrible. Melted frame, metal parts molden together, all plastic was gone. Heck, you would not know it was a four wheelers if you didn't already know what he kept in the shed . They were Polaris & Suzukis, that might be why !!!!

haha, what I meant about the tires and battery was that is all I had to do to the wheeler up to the fire. After the fire, it was a pile of melted plastic and metal. Funny about the Polaris and 'zukis though.
