Did you finish the T&G before putting it up on the ceiling? Varnishing upside down is no fun. Painting might be a different situation. Jon

normally i would prime it on the ground and paint it after it's up but.....

i'm just trying to get thru inspections and have 2 more larger ceilings to go so i will deal with the finish later

We have been nearly shut down while Lowe's lets their inventory dwindle.

Lumber racks at HD were full yesterday, but prices were still at the top level.

I just placed an order for #1 grade KD treated SYP for a deck, $2 bucks a lineal foot. Really nice looking though. And pickup in a week.

Lumber racks at Lowe's were full yesterday as well. Didn't see anyone buying. 2x12x16' just short $100 and $9 for a 2x4x8'.

Many if not most of the stores have plenty of inventory, but nobody is buying right now and all the inventory they have is high priced inventory. They aren't buying any more of the lower priced lumber that we have right now until they work the high priced inventory down.
