Nice. Any need to have the lumber stamped? Is LL pine the standard species for framing where you are? How do you price it?

Not lumber and honestly, i do not know if the price is inflated.

I had Decided on zoysia grass for around the house.

I do not know the coverage per pound and.......i don't care anymore.

Lucky you don't buy alfalfa, it went from $190 a sack to 400 a sack (50 pounds). 46 Urea went from 9 bucks a bag (50 pounds) to $20.00 a bag. Current old crop corn is at $7.49 a bushel (53 pounds @ 15% RM but the price of fuel as well as the price of seed (went from 300 bucks a bag to 400 bucks a bag) 50 pounds again, negates any per bushel price increase in corn. In fact it's actually on the minus side when you factor in inputs.

Inflation at it's finest.

I heard that PVC pipe also went up like a rocket ship.

On the subject of zoysia grass. It was all the rage around here many years ago. What many people failed to realize is that it spreads rapidly, and turns bright brown after a heavy frost and remains brown until the next spring. No way for it to stay green when dormant.

Many an argument amongst neighbors whose show lawns were invaded by that stuff from the property next door and ruined.

What the heck is a show lawn Mossy? I have the philosophy that if it's green, I mow it, weeds or not and I have nice weeds. Considering the price of gas, even that will be infrequently.

Summya'll been saying you can't even find PT boards. Big Box stores show they have it, but $16 for a 4 x 4 x 8 post? I bought 4 x 4 x 16s in January for $17.79 that are currently listed for $31.98

4' x 9' OSB that I paid $11 for in May is now showing at $20.25


Somebody's rakin' it in somewhere along the line. Aren't there price gouging laws?

Update: Now it is the end of May 2021.

I bought 11 sheets of T-111 on March 10th to repair/replace some rotted T-111 on my barn.
I cheaped out, and low estimated (11) the number of sheets needed, because they were SO expensive at $65 per sheet.
That was a crazy price for T-111.

So.... now on the 29th of May, I came to the conclusion that I did underestimate by 2 sheets.
Off I went to the lumberyard for two more sheets of T-111.
This time $96.20 each!
I had to have it to complete the repair!

Absolutely unbelievable!
