While mowing weeds I noticed that my right front axle looked very wet so I drove the tractor back to the yard. Oil was being lightly spewed from the oil filler cap. I loosened the cap slightly and the pressure started easing out so I left the cap in place. I then pulled the dipstick and the pressure blew oil all over my shirt and took the dipstick completely out of my hand. After letting the tractor cool down I checked the oil level and it was full. I checked the radiator and it was also full. The spewed oil was all over the engine and front axle area. The tractor never ran hot and never sounded abnormal. What would cause that kind of pressure in the oil without any warning?
