XR4150 joy stick cable?

I have an XR4150, joy stick lift is fine, but the curl is very hard to move. It no long returns back to neutral.
I looked at the joy stick yesterday and found every thing clean. I looked under the tractor and everything looked fine. I did not have to time to remove the cable from the spool. Has any one had any problems with the cables? I do run deep in manure at times. But I see no sign of rust. I sprayed what I could see and worked the controls but no change.

Mine did this about a year ago. I took the plastic shroud off from around the joystick and found the cable was coming loose. I simply tightened it and all is well.

But this might be something different. Did this happen suddenly or did you notice it getting worse over time?

It got worse over time. I already checked everything around the joystick. All looks good there.

It's probably in the spool then. Might need to take your valves apart and clean/inspect it.

Warranty?
