XR4150 H Wiring harness issue, again!

Hey All,

I have run into another wiring harness issue in my 4150. I just had the 500 service completed on my tractor and my warning light came on error code F08 S27

Last year the part of the wiring harness, to the fuel pump, had to be replaced because the way it was installed it rubbed on the farm and ground through the wires. Now another part of the wiring has to be replaced because it holds water and caroded. Now I'm paying for towing it to the dealer, again.

So others with or about to buy an XR4000 series might want to get the wires checked.

Update! Murphy Bros in Boonville are awesome, and done me right. no charge for the hauling my tractor back to the shop. Plus they fixed it quick and had me running.

Where at in harness was bad? Mine just threw this code also 2yrs old with 143hrs on it

After multipleissues they replaced the complete harness.LS has a whole new unit soI don't know the specifics of this error code

My new holland boomer 40 displayed this code when grading the road today. Has under 40 hours and ran fine. Shut tractor down and restarted fault code still present and now flashing warning triangle in upper rh corner too.

I realize this is an old thread, but wanted to post my F08-27 error.

i have a small hydro leak near the front right linkage.

I received this error code and started going through threads like this. I stopped and checked the hydro fluid level…it was so clear i was unable to get a reading. But knowing i have this drip leak, figured i would top the hydro fluid off. Sure enough, the error no longer displayed once i started it up.

i realize this is a wiring harness error, but maybe the error code is slightly off???

edit: I noticed a wiring harness disconnect under the trac the next day, this would indicate the logical error code.
