anyone having noticed 1-4 high low gear shifter on left side feels like too much play

Hi Blue, was just surfing around the threads and found this. Mine does not really seem like its loose or what you might consider too much play, sometimes I do have a little trouble getting it in the range, I have 4 different ranges. Kinda seems like the numbered decals maybe do not truly line up with the shifter where it actually goes into the gear, could be that my head or body is not lined up with it, so, I have been relying more on feel than on sight. I can feel a little click or movement when it actually goes in.

When I was test driving several of that series I noticed the range selector wasnt super precise.

I didnt have any trouble hitting the correct ranges. Looks to me like its just a real long shifter lever making it a little springy.

found problem to be in clevis pins on lever that connects shifter handle to lever that connects to trans. one hole seems to be slightly larger than other creating some slop in pin hole,may be a bushing missing called dealer and i am waiting for answers.
