Buying Advice XR3135H or the XR4140H

I didn't discuss the 3100 series, but here was his pricing on similar 3100 series tractors - XR 3135HC was $25,980, XG3037H was $18,980, and XR3135H was $20,980. A guy could jump up to a XR 4140HC for only $1,000 more than the XR 3135HC. If you read my other post about my purchase this pricing included a quick hitch, fluid filled tires, and free delivery. I also negotiated a set of pallet forks and some other small things with my deal.

Technically not, prices seemed good for what I found locally, plus this dealer was the closest for me. Per my thread I ended up buying a 50 hour lease unit that only pulled a finish mower. I was going to go with the XR4140HC the dealer had on the lot, but I couldn't turn down the deal on the XR4155HC. I did get a free weekend rental on a couple pieces of equipment, free rear 3 point raise/lower upgrade, free pickup and delivery for warranty and service work, and some LS gear (shirt, coat, and coffee mug). I've been very happy, the tractor has a little over 120 hours on it already. For what I've been doing I'm glad I got the larger model - lifting round bales, moving lots of dirt, pulling a finish mowet, etc.
