XJ2025 Gear Drive

Hello All!
I am new to the forum, and I am also new to New Tractors as well.
After about a year of searching hi and low, reading page after page about subcompact tractors both here and another tractor forum I am a member of, I could not find the right subcompact for me. Then I realized that I didn't want a sub compact, I wanted a smaller compact. Which lead me to the xj2025. After numerous calls and visits to the local dealership, I went ahead and bit the bullet. I did do as much online research as I could, but I've noticed that the gear drive model didn't really have a following. I have nothing against hydrostatics, they're just not for me.
Just thought I stop in and share my story real quick.
I've got to say though, it may be a smaller tractor, but it's a huge step UP from my old 8N.
Once I figure out how, I'll post some pictures.

Congratulations. I have no doubt you will be happy with your XJ2025. I beat mine daily and haven't had a single problem.

That's just it, I did.
At about the 9hr mark, the transmission got stuck in 3rd gear. I could still move between the ranges just fine, but no 1-3 or reverse.
According to my dealer, after I called them about it and they came and grabbed it, there was a recall having to do with the however the shift fork was retained. And that is what had happened to mine, the fork had slipped and wedged the transmission in 3rd.
It's all water under the bridge now, I lost 6 days with the tractor, but not even a dime. That just gives me more reason to have faith in my dealer and LS themselves.
