XJ 2025H 250 hr service

It’s time to do the 250hr service on my xj2025h. I bought the 5 filter kit from an eBay seller for $99.99 with free shipping.

my question is what hydraulic oil would be best to use in my tractor?

I personally like using synthetic, top quality stuff. There are fluids made by Mobil, Shell, and other manufacturers. The Kubota SUDT2 is also good stuff. I used the Kubota fluid and it actually quieted my HST considerably.

Thanks, I will probably go with the Kubota fluid since I need to change the fluid in my old B7100 too.

Well, got the 250hr service done today. Hydraulic oil was still clear when I checked it before I changed the filters so I didn’t change it. Used the shop vac trick so didn’t lose very much. Worst thing about this service was getting the engine oil filter off, some gorilla must have installed the one at the 50hr service!
