While greasing my FEL for the first time i had one zert fitting that i could not lock my grease gun onto (it a 10mm zert) tried to remove the zert to replace it but the 10 mm socket cant grab the zert so i decided to check the other zerts same problem so i will have to knock the head off any zerts that i have problems with and use a reverse drill to remove once the Warenty runs out. The Dealer had no problem getting me a new pin w/zert but a little disapointed in LS design of the pins and not being able to remove & chang bad zerts with a 10mm socket. I was wondering if all are like my pins?

Thats odd. I have the LL4104 loader. I assume they use the same zerks. I do not have any issues with my manual or pneumatic grease gun. Can you get your grease gun on other zerks (non LS)?

Same as Avenger. You may want to try and thin wall standard socket.

I'm not able to follow what OP is describing. Are you saying your gun won't fit on your LS tractor Zert fittings? IS your grease gun new and you haven't used it before? You also say you could not get a normal 10mm wrench on the zert to unscrew it and replace it but you said the dealership gave you a new pin with Zert. Did your pin go bad because you were unable to grease it?

I know I have a different Tractor but it is still an LS and I have been able to grease "ALL" of my zerts with no issue. I will check the style of mine tomorrow and will post back. Could you upload pics?

What he may be referring to is a problem I had with my Lock N Lube head too large to fit into one of the ports on the loader where the zerk is recessed.
I simply use my old grease gun with the old style head (More narrow diametrically) to grease those two (One on each side) fittings.
Like the others have posted, I’ve had my 3000 series for years and had no complaint other than the aforementioned fittings.
Adapt and go on.

Had the same problem with a couple of the pins on my R3939H. I used a grinding drum on my Dremel and ground the holes large enough to get the Lock N Lube head to fit.

I did have to use a dremel to remove a bad nick where someone hit the pin with a hammer, it was large enough i could not get on the zert with the standard grease gun end but no problem getting my lock type on the zert after cleaning the nick off only problem in cleaning the nick off the recess I accidentally nicked the zert and can not get a 10mm socket on the zert even after grinding the socket flat on the end . There is not enough of the zert sticking up to get the socket to catch. I could knock the top of the zert off and remove with a ease out or reverse drill, i was just venting because the design makes it a pain in the *** to chang the zert.

Are the zerks LS uses brass, steel or a mystery-metal?

I wonder if they're 'self-welding' to the metal. I think it's called galvanic corrosion.

And can you change the head/nozzle on your grease gun to fit the LS zerks? If so, does anybody know the size?

Dealer provided a Lock N Lube grease gun and coupler with the tractor.
