- LS XG3037 w/ LS LL3109 FEL Kodiak SD5 Mower, Speeco Model 65 PHD, Bush Hog BX-600 Box Blade, Titan 42" Skid Steer Pallet Fork/Hay Spear Combo
Took delivery of my new XG3037 a couple of weeks ago, but haven't had much time to play with it. Finally got some seat time today and started by adjusting the new mower (side to side, front to back), adding 2.4 oz of PS Diesel Kleenw/Cetane Boost to a full tank of fuel, and then mowing about 10 acres. Experienced my first regen cycle (exactly at 4.0 hrs) on a Tier 4 engine....indicator light came on and I just kept going (just like the dealer told me) and it finished in approx. 20 minutes. No problems...didn't notice anything. This was my first experience with a Tier 4 engine so I wasn't sure what to expect. Several folks recommended that I buy a good older tractor instead of a new one because of the regen cycle, but now I know it was much ado about nothing.
Got to play with all the gears and speed levels and learning how to gauge the turning and cornering with a FEL and bucket on, found the best height for the mower and set the stop, and played with all the controls. All in all, I had a blast and believe I am going to love my Blue Mule!
