X758 Step 1.

Hello, My name is Steve and I am Getting ready to spend $16,000 on a lawn mower.

I have a little over 1.5 acres a 400 foot blacktop driveway and a 70 ft X 70 ft blacktop parking area. For my 16k I get a new x758 a 60" HC deck and a 54" snow blower. Here is how I justified the price, I want it and I want it bad. Here is a picture of my yard. The 2 trees at the bottom of the picture are gone now. I think I could mow it with a walk behind in a couple hours. I'm looking for as many enablers as possible to tell me I am making a wise decision. Thanks for listening.

Sounds about right to me.
But if you want a smooth ride jump up to a 2032R. :)

Welcome!
you OWE it to yourself to have the proper equipment to maintain that
beautiful property, need to keep your property in good shape to
protect your investment!
and while you are at it, you might as well do it as comfortable as you can.
and just think of the hours of tractor therapy you will get, so when you
come inside you will be all nice and relaxed ready to take on whatever the
family wants to dish out!
sounds like a must have to me!

Really nice place. If you have the money and want the toy, nothing wrong with that at all. But, if it were my cash, I'd buy a JD 1026R with loader or Kubota BX with loader. That way, you can have the loader for help with rip-rap and mulch, picking up deadfall, and whatever else.

This is the perfect advice. You must be the worlds greatest dad! And its hard to argue with solid logic. Thanks.

Thought about the 1023 and the x710 and the x730 and the x738 and the x750 and x758 and just a minute ago thanks to bigtiller the 2032R. Finally forced myself to buy the x758 before my salesman or I both were committed to the loony bin. For mowing and moving snow I think I made the right choice. Our lake association has their own tractor to maintain the lake. This one is all mine.
