X700 Series w/7-Iron Mower

On my X748, probably the most difficult part was actually putting the PTO shaft on, otherwise, it's very easy to line up.

Anyone know if the 60 inch 7 iron deck for the X700 series will fit an X595?

I was told the 7 iron would not fit on my 2006 X728, but I bought a used 2007 7 iron anyhow. So far so good. I have been told the 2006 X728 is essentially a x585 re-badged, so should fit the older. I have a Curtis hard cab on the tractor currently and the deck hits the supports under the foot deck,so not sure on clearance ewith it " all the way up", will find that out in a few weeks when I pull the cab to tear the tractor down to install the loader relief valve and 3 point hitch. If there are any issues, I will post.

To the topic, I agree this deck is awesome. I have a scag 54" hydro walk behind as my primary mower. This deck is every it a stury as the commercial scag!

Glad to hear all the good revues on the 7 iron deck as I just bought a 740 with a 60 inch 7 iron. Probably only one mowing left this year but should have fun with it next year!
