X485 Transmission oil Level

I have an x485. When checking / adjusting the Transmission hydraulic oil level, should the mower deck be dropped to the floor first and then check level?

I am not familiar with the X485 and hydraulics - BUT unless the MMM is controlled off the hydraulics it wont matter..

On my 2320 the FEL and 3pt hitch should be lowered (and the MMM is lifted by the 3pt hitch)
