I'll try to explain my issues as best I can. I started out a couple weeks ago when all of a sudden the engine would continuously crank but would not start. A neighbor checked to see if there was any spark at the plugs and there was not any spark on either plug. He thought the coil was bad. In the meantime while awaiting for the coil, another neighbor came by and did some troubleshooting and found the coil to be okay because he was able to start the engine after disconnecting a black on black wire running along the right side of the engine (right side sitting on the seat). When the engine was running the PTO for the blades would not engage. The engine stops when he connected the black wires back together. I replaced a switch AT75769 (the neighbor thought this might be the switch for the PTO)but that made no changes to the current issue.
With all that being said, I'm looking for any troubleshooting solutions for how to fix the issues. The engine is a Kawasaki FH661V-CS04.
