x300 will not move or PTO will not engage

HELP! Just got hit with massive snow here and can't get x300 to move to push snow. Engine cranks and starts right up. Pushing the forward or reverse pedal does not give an movement. Also, pulling up on PTO does not engage mower. Main drive belt seems loose. Is there anyway to adjust tension? Or it would it be another problem. Many thanks for help.

No, I have the pin in the back pushed in, so I wish it were that. The pedals feel a little soft for some reason.

I know this is old but any chance you figured it out? I’m having the exact same problem. Definitely not in neutral.
