I have some Girl Scout Cookies and other things that I would like to send to a soldier in either Afghanistan or Iraq. I've done this many times before but I always had a soldier over there that I knew and they would distribute the gifts. All the soldiers I know there will be home by Christmas so I can't send any more to/through them.

I have about a half dozen cases of cookies and a couple small cases of other things that I willing to send to any soldier in either of those two countries.

If someone could supply me with an address, I will gladly send the things I have collected to them so they can share them with their friends.

Thanks in advance.

Come on folks, not one of you has a son, daughter, neighbor or friend overseas serving in our armed forces who would like cookies from a Girl Scout Troop and a couple other cases of misc goodies?

All I need is their name and an APO box address and I will ship this over there.

Bob,
I don't know of anyone personally over there.
But I do think it's great that you offered once again to do something like this.

Hey Bob,

I have a friend that is over there, I will call his wife tonight and get his address for you. And by the way, since your here, but where have you been posting lately?? Haven't seen you lately? And I think it is great what your doing for the people in service..

Bob,

Good to hear from you. We miss your input. Are you collecting items for the shipment like you have in the past?

What can we do to help?

Thanks,
Kevin

NOPE, I am not collecting or soliciting from TBN members. I've got plenty of stuff to send. But I need someone to send it to!

When I had my employees over there they would take care of passing the stuff around the barracks. But my last employee is going to be returning home soon (he's in transit from Iraq now, will be at a US base for a short while, and back here at work in early January).

So all I am looking now for is a soldier over in either Afghanistan or Iraq that I can send over a couple of cases of personal care items, as well as about a half dozen full sealed cases (not boxes) of Girl Scout Cookies.

Bob; Don't know anyone over there either. Just thought I'd commend you on what you're doing. Good show. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I read your thread about the loaders on the NH and the 'Bota, and few others of yours. Got anything else in the works like those? Maybe one about backblades? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm glad to see you're still up to your old tricks!
Everyone that I know over there is either leaving tomorrow on advance party or will be gone before a package would arrive Bob. I expect that they'll all be back in the states by the new year and home by mid January. Surely someone will send you some addresses.

Bob, our church is having our first Saturday December this morning. We provide hot full bkfast and clothes, shoes, toys...... to all who attend. Last year we served over 2000 people. I was there at 5:15 and ask a friend who's son is still over there to send me his address. She will do it when she gets home and I will forward it to you.
Last year we served over 2000 people.

Happy Holidays, and God Bless US All.

Why not send thru an established charity ...

Anysoldier.com apparently has a system in place to receive and distribute gifts to troops.

You can even put in a search term for the type of donation you wish to make (e.g. "cookies") and all of the specific addresses of active troops are provided. Send to as many as you like.

Where To Send

If you don't want to use the above site, you can search Google for "donate to troops in Iraq..." and find many, many contacts.
