Could be. I remember seeing some CL ads from him back then, and it looked like he was using pictures from the LS website. Haven't seen them in awhile, though.

I ended up not buying from that dealer anyway. He started attaching a whole bunch of conditions before we'd even finished our first conversation. He also wasn't really a tractor dealer. He mainly sells dairy equipment, and happens to have some haying equipment and a tractor or two on his lot.

I have read good things about Cole's. Glad they treated you well.

Not to highjack the thread ... but I used to play a lot in Bonne Terre (Party Town, Visions) and Farmington (Papa Don's) back in the late '80s. I remember thinking that if I ever wanted to buy a Ford 8N, that drive down 67 between Festus and Farmington saw about 100 of them for sale at any given time. :laughing:

Cole's is legit, I bought a 16+2 car hauler from them in person that is decent for the price (since it's a casual use trailer, it sits for weeks between use and investing in a top-dollar rig wasn't justifiable), and nearly bought a MT125 before I decided on my GC, but the people there are genuine, honest, and give a good fair shake your hands type of deal. The move a LOT of units, so they're looking for volume, their shop is no-frills but a clean low overhead operation.

Now, as far as warranty service by a different dealer, as we all should know, tractors are much different than auto/truck for warranty service.
