would you trust bes buy based on this ad?

I didn't bother reading the ad. I wouldn't trust Best Buy based on having dealt with their sales crew. If they don't know the answer to your question they seem to make up the best lie that will fit the circumstances to help make a sale.

Wife and I refuse to shop at Best Buy. We use to buy all our appliances, tvs, and computers from them. They provided very poor customer service for the refrigerator and took months to get them to honor their extended warranty. Since that experience, we haven't purchased anything from Best Buy.

Bought a 50" Best Buy house brand "Insignia" TV in May of last year.
17 days after my purchase, it failed.
They refused return.

They have a 15 day return policy
Claimed they now could only fix it.

They "fixed" it, and 10 days after the one year warranty ran out.... it failed again.
I sent it to the dump!

I quit shopping at Best Buy because they never stocked anything that I was shopping for. Spent an hour looking at their mini protectors that were on display, comparing prices and specs. I decided on one, found a salesperson, and he simply said that they do not actually stock any of the projectors on display.

2nd the poor customer service. And stay away from the extended warranty/ protection plan. It isn't worth the paper it was printed on.

They go out of their way to deny a claim.
