I would like to start a thread similar to the one with pics of people towing stuff that looks unsafe, only this thread is for unsafe or downright dangerous trailers themselves. I got behind this trailer last week and got a picture of it with my phone from the cab of my truck. Sorry for the poor quality. Notice the right rear corner of the trailer is about 8" lower than the leftside. The right side drop down loading ramp is missing about 4 or 5 of the cross bars. There's a big gap in the boards so the small stuff can fall out at hwy speed and endanger other vehicles/drivers. It's hard to see it, but the main rail (channel iron) of the frame has a spot that is bent out about 2" just in front of the leftside tires. And then there are no fenders on it, not sure if required by law here or not? Left side taillight missing, and no working tail light on the right side, definitely required by law. This one was owned by a landscaping company. Would you have no problem hooking it up, and loading up, and taking off down the highway?
If you have any pic's of unsafe or dangerous trailers, let's see them!
