Would You Loan It Out?

we got nothing better to do 😥😢😭😿
or....we've all paid the price being generous for neighbors.
sad thing is...its a 50/50 mix for me and it will always be that way.

My wife put a stop to me loaning out power equipment!! So I started doing what others are doing, offering to help them myself, no charge, some will offer to pay for diesel. I will always plow those driveways in the winter when needed! We have the best neighbors! 🇺🇦☮️✌🏻

LOL if you got a GC2400 running PATS quick hitches...then sure.
hey can I borrow your truck to haul my stuff to a tilling job??
LOL
yeah point is...if done right borrow/lend works out well between neighbors. problem is when people fail to realize differences in class and pto length stuff. it can get expensive then.
and I say that as a guy who has little yet has MANY people surrounding him who are willing to lend out stuff that costs 70k$ no questions asked.
we all now know (hopefully) that as a lender we have to be careful.
opposite is also true, as a borrower we need to be careful.

When I saw Malala1 I wondered if you were from there, then I thought what are the odds, then I saw Oregon and that was as far as I got.
Do you know Luke and his wife the propane people? Good people. 🇺🇦☮️✌🏻

Now that I think about it, I borrowed a tiller once. Guy had worked at TSC and bought a return KK unit very cheap. I tried to buy it from him, but he said I could borrow it. I drove my tractor over to get it and return it. Wasn’t that far, by car, but took long time on tractor. ThT made me buy my own, not worth the hassle to borrow.

Ive loaned my Troy built tiller a couple times.

I got one friend I loan our DR chipper to. He's borrowed it before. It comes back gassed and totally detailed. Clean as hell. The last time he borrowed it, it had a flat tire. I knew there was issues with the tire and he took the tube I bought and he said he would fix it for the cost of borrowing it. Dang thing went flat again. He bought 2 solid tires for it.

Now I got friends who want to borrow the mini x. Don't think so. I'll help them out but I'll run it

I loaned my 3 pT PHD to my neighbor, forgetting it had a bent cutting edge, as I hadn’t used it in years. He returned it fixed.
