I should have said I would not do it on a factory sub frame like I have, I really think a custom frame mounted out on the axle housing and the front mounted farther forward to some thing off the bottom o& the loader mounts would be far better. I got a good deal on the subframe so I went that route.

Is $675.00 a good price for the subframe?

I’m trying to remember how much I stole mine for, but if your planning on a complete remake of the frame and how it attaches to the tractor then I would start from scratch I think. The brackets for the front and rear mounts that bolt to the tractor are the complicated parts. And really the rear mount could be built onto your existing draw bar mount pretty easy. The front mount you said you were going to do different anyway. I was going to make my own but when the dealer offered me the price on a factory bolt on I went a head due to some many other things I needed to due and the time to fab one up.

Dealer price was 750 on the subframe, but I ended up 600 cash and carry.

$675 is not a bad price. You stole yours $600. I too have way too many projects now to take the time to fab up a whole new subframe. The BH I was looking at got sold yesterday. What I should have done is bought it just to resell it. I'm kicking myself in the azz today for not buying it. I could have easily made a few $K on it and bought the right size BH for my tractor. I think the extra 550 pounds of the BH9 would have been a bit much off the back end. If I go with a new subframe, it will be extended up to the FEL mounts to stiffen it up even more.

I have a case D100xr that I did just as your wanting to, it is suppose to weight in at 1200 or so and I really would not want anything any heavier on it.

I found a few of the D100 D100XR hoes near me for around $2K.
