Kioti NX4510HST
I'm considering putting a JD BH9 backhoe on my NX4510HST. It is off a skid steer and would require some fab work to make it fit. I would either have to buy or fab up a sub frame for it then make the attachment arms for the backhoe to fit the sub frame. The Kioti backhoe weighs about 1250 pounds. The JD weighs in around 1800 and has a digging depth of an extra 23 inches over the Kioti. Your thoughts please. The subframe for my tractor is $700.00.

I have a case D100xr that I did just as your wanting to, it is suppose to weight in at 1200 or so and I really would not want anything any heavier on it.

I should have said I would not do it on a factory sub frame like I have, I really think a custom frame mounted out on the axle housing and the front mounted farther forward to some thing off the bottom o& the loader mounts would be far better. I got a good deal on the subframe so I went that route.

I was thinking of buying the Kioti frame and extending it forward to the loader arms and install crossbracing if possible. I'll look up the weight of your tractor with the cab.

Mine weighs 4k without a loader, yours weighs 4500 without the loader. That loader must weight another 800.

Is 700 a good price for the subframe?

Apparently Kioti sells the KB2485 hoe (94" dig depth) for that tractor, and that is likely all it can effectively handle.
An extra 550 lbs. hoe weight for that tractor, seems like a really poor idea..

That is why I am asking in case somebody else has done this. Years ago I had a Ford 8 N that had a backhoe on it from a Ford Major. You couldn't climb big hills with it. It sure did dig good.
