Curious if anybody got experience with this thing.

No, but that is an interesting idea! Can't image it has much gripping power, unless it was geared down to move VERY slowly.

Interesting. Seems a bit slow for my liking. I believe that electrical linear actuators will become more prevalent in many applications going forward. To me, the ideal applications are for things such as snowblower chute left/right up/down functions where hydraulics are overkill to say the least.

They claim a 1/2 ton of force. Here's another vid:

Personally, if I would go with a grapple, I would prefer it hydraulic with 3rd function or diverter valve, coz you could use all that for other stuff up front, like a plow. But yeh it is interesting, I'd love to see it in action. I guess it's so new, nobody has a video up just yet of it working on a tractor.

Looks ok ,Good for that small sub compact tractor market .

How about just a 12 volt DC hydraulic pump (like liftgate on truck bed) and hydraulic ram....

Electric has the advantages of cheap and very limited tractor prep. If you were going to go through the expense and effort of hydraulic you would be better off to just use the tractor hydraulics.

Tone of this video is that this is something they invented. Seems like another company used electric linear actuators on grapples that were discussed on TBN, maybe 10 years ago? (I've never had much luck with TBN search)

Looks like an acceptable option for smaller tractors. Cycle time and clamp force are fine.
