the neice nephew an i worked the MX5100 pulling up thorn trees an bushes.an it would sure pull them up once we got the hang of it.you cant beat the HST for going back an forth.will prolly hook the shredder to it tomorrow an shredd where we are working.going to spray the roots an kill them tomorrow as well.

Sounds like good clean fun. Er, I mean really hard work. If you get a chance, grab a few pictures to share. There are a few folks like me with the tractor parked because of mud and snow. If I can't be out there myself, at least it would be good to watch someone else at work. :thumbsup: Enjoy your MX5100. It looks like a great unit.

Thorn bushes in Texas? Those wouldn't happen to be maybe, Mesquite or possibly Acacia (also called the Huisache tree)?

its thorn bushes but not mesquite trees.they are in west an south tx if my memory is right.
