I think the mounting brackets will probably be of real benefit to you. Chances are they won't bolt directly to the Yanmar but can surely be modified to do so more easily than making all new brackets from scratch. I think I'd jump on this deal with both feet! Just need a joystick and some hoses and fitting and your in business. I bought the joystick I have on my Mitsubishi off ebay. Its a New Holland unit that came with quick connects and brackets/hard lines, fittings, etc that was new in box and cost $700+ retail...got it for $155 including shipping.
