No, I've been doin the internet since the pope was a kid. there's a website called Woot.com that sells one item per day. I've bought a bunch of stuff there but never seen a mower.

I did buy a 61" DLP HDTV there though!

Does the term Woot mean something else in your neighborhood.

Some of us have been thinking those deck washers might not be good things to use. As mentioned here they expose the spindle bearings to water which is not good for them. Even worse is they will constantly re-wet areas of caked grass under the deck that the washer can't get at, and those areas can stay moist for a week or more under the deck, causing it to rust prematurely. My old fashioned method is ramps, a dull scraper, and compressed air every 2 or 3 uses. Can't say as I ever heard of woot.com till today LOL /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I've never heard of woot.com either.

From Wikipedia:

"The term "w00t" (IPA pronunciation: [wut]) is a slang interjection used to express happiness or excitement, often expressed via the Internet. It is commonly pronouced "woot" by some gamers. The expression has been used in Usenet posts [1], multiplayer computer games (especially first-person shooters), the IRC and SILC chat protocols, instant messages, weblogs, and web forums. "WOOT!" was often found to be a popular celebratory term used to spam over chat channels in a game called EverQuest, when a group of players was successful in achieving their goal in the game."

And no, I never played games like Everquest. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I spray the underside of my deck with a graphite based paint like "SLIP PLATE". This acts as a "teflon" coating that grass won't stick to. No need for a deck wash....

The slip plate trick works well on auger housings of snowthrowers/blowers and front or rear earth /grader blades. too!
