I have a Woods750 Backhoe on a B7610. I need a thumb, I just can't do what I need without one. I have seen some small units available but not one for the Woods750. Does anyone know a supplier or small manufacturer to get this attachment from?
Thank you.

I have a Woods 750 and I bought my thumb from this outfit.

Excavator Thumbs in stock by USA Attachments

I have absolutely no complaints with the design, the fit, it's very heavy duty, and the company was a great help.

Now that I've said all that, I found that it's not as usefull as I had imagined it would be. Maybe my BH skills are lacking. But I don't regret buying it as there were a few times it came in handy. This picture comes from their website I have pics of mine, but not on this computer.

Looks like a welding project.
Seems with the high cost of that unit plus the weld job needed I will have $900.00 - $1000.00 in it. Not sure if that is for me.
Before I spend that kind of coin I would have to make my own.
Thanks for the reply, it has added fuel to the thought of making one.

The welding only cost me $45 It's not a tough weld. As far as the price of the unit goes, this thing is tough and heavy and you get what you pay for.

Hi Cosco1,
The part of not being as useful, do these thumbs get in the way on small 750BH? Lifting power come up short? Do you think clamp on style would be worth the savings?
I appreciate you sharing your experience with the 750BH and thumb.
Thanks,
Sperry

I currently have the same thumb as Casco. I actually have the 8x24 monster hangin on my Branson. They didn't offfer the 6x18 at the time. I have since purchased one from Steeltec off ebay which is 5x16 and way more siuted for my backhoe. My buddy is buying the 8x24 and we'll install it on his full size backhoe.

snoboy,
It sure looks like a fit, the price seems real fair also. I will measure up the 750 arm tomorrow and call to see if it fits.
Thanks for the contact!!
