Snowblower Woods SB74 with WalterScheid drive shaft

I just took possession of a Woods SB74 snowblower, with the Walterscheid drive shaft. I want to get some spare shear bolts, and require a M8 x 50mm CL 8.8 bolt ---- which according to the dealer's parts database are $106 each. That's not a typo, "one hundred and six" dollars. They are checking into alternatives but I wanted to see if any on the Forum have developed a cost-effective work-around. I can't even locate softer, shear bolt quality bolts in this dimension.

You are not looking very hard if you can't find 8x50mm hex head capscrews in 8.8 hardness. Anyone who sells metric hardware can get them, or has them on the shelf. Bush Hog sells packs of 5, but I don't recall their part number. They are shearbolts for 2101 and 2102 post hole diggers.
Somebody needs to call Woods and straighten out that parts price, it is clearly an error.

Thanks. I haven't looked anywhere except online, and am still waiting to hear back from my dealer about the correct pricing. Good to know it is a more common size than most online souorces were suggesting.
