I was on Woods' website looking for something and saw this recall. I know several of you have their backhoes so I thought I would pass this along in case you wanted to check into it.

Nevermind, I called Woods about something else and asked them about the recall and they said it should not be on their site anymore. That will teach me to post something before checking into it!

Let's hope it will teach Woods to keep up with the real world.

Sooo was it a recall or not

Yes, it was a recall at one time but the guy said it had been resolved years ago. Then why not take it off the site if it has been resolved?

maybe an End date would of been better. i am assuming bad batch of hose or something. who knows.

i am assuming they left it up, for those folks, that do not frequent the internet. and check on things on a regular basis. i might use internet daily, but doesn't mean i check up on recalls all the time. perhaps if i goto local dealer for a part, then i might get notified or see something. then again maybe not.
